Lawson Announces Strategic Partnership to Serve Irish Market

London (April 24, 2007) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) today announced a strategic partnership with CSI, a leading ICT solutions provider for businesses. Headquartered in Belfast and a valued IBM business partner, CSI will become a strategic channel to sell and support Lawson M3 enterprise software applications for Lawson customers and prospects in Ireland.

With a focus on manufacturing, distribution and maintenance markets, the new partnership will help benefit Irish customers by combining the strength of Lawson’s world-class enterprise application solutions and CSI’s extensive expertise in the local market, infrastructure management and knowledge of IBM System x and System i servers. This combination of skills will provide enhanced consulting and implementation of services.

“We have been looking for a world-class ERP solution such as Lawson M3 for quite a time and are delighted to be selected as the Lawson reseller in Ireland, said Alan Baird, director, CSI. “At CSI, we provide pragmatic and down-to-earth advice to Irish businesses on how to solve IT issues and improve IT facilities, enabling customers to concentrate on running their business. We see the Lawson M3 solution helping our mid-size customers to maximise control of their business and thus increase profitability.

“We recognise the great importance in creating a customer-focused partner ecosystem that addresses our customers’ industry-specific needs while providing a better level of customer service and expertise through local business partners, says Fady Sfeir, vice president of channels for Lawson in EMEA. “CSI fits our partner strategy perfectly in terms of local and industry-specific knowledge and we are confident that this partnership will greatly enhance our relationship with our customers in Ireland.

The Lawson M3 enterprise software applications are designed specifically for medium-sized businesses that make, move and maintain products. For these companies, resources are constrained and processes are often complex and industry-specific. In addition, their organizations or supply chains are usually international.

Lawson M3 is differentiated by its focus on industry-specific functionality and a commitment to open standards, which enables greater flexibility while reducing total cost of ownership.
