Lubiana Implements Latest Java-based Lawson M3 Solution
WARSAW, Poland (October 29, 2007) – Lawson Software (NASDAQ: LWSN) announced today that ZPS Lubiana SA, one of the largest china-ware manufacturers in Poland, has successfully migrated to the latest Java-based Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System. By moving to the latest version of the enterprise software system, the company will be better positioned to streamline its business processes.
The project, which will support approximately 60 users in the company, included additional licenses for Lawson M3 Enterprise Performance Management Suite with Business Performance Warehouse. The Lawson M3 solution runs on an IBM server i5 platform.
Lubiana SA is one of the largest and the most modern porcelain manufacturers in Poland. 72 percent of the sold goods are exported to 32 countries, mainly to Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, the USA, Denmark, Hungary, Portugal, Canada, Sweden, Finland and the UK. The company is Lawson’s second customer in Poland to opt for the Lawson “Stepping Up program, which is designed to help provide faster software updates and help reduce total cost of ownership.

Lubiana employs state of the art technologies, such as isostatic presses, pressure casting equipment, modern burning furnaces, pellets production for isostatic presses, and mechanical glazing. Lubiana’s product offering covers three segments: catering porcelain, household porcelain and porcelain accessories. The company directly supplies more than 200 hotels in Poland. Monthly production amounts to 3.6 million items, which corresponds to 14,500 tons of porcelain per year. ZPS Lubiana SA employs more than 1,500 people.
