Bathroom Fittings Manufacturer Wisa Selects Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System to Help Improve Operational Management
VIANEN, Netherlands (October 18, 2007) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) announced today that Wisa, a bathroom fittings developer and manufacturer, has signed a contract to implement the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System to help optimize the company’s manufacturing process and to improve the information availability to Wisa’s employees and customers. Lawson M3 is an enterprise software system specifically designed for companies in manufacturing and distribution. The contract with Wisa was signed during Lawson’s first quarter of fiscal 2008, which ended Aug. 31, 2007.
Wisa has selected Lawson M3 as its enterprise software solution to help efficiently manage a significant amount of information within the company. The Lawson M3 solution will help support and streamline Wisa’s business processes and information flow and replace a number of disparate legacy systems. With the implementation of Lawson M3, Wisa expects to improve service and sales support by replacing its current ineffective and error prone use of spreadsheets for accounting and its non-integrated CRM system.
Lawson M3 will interface with the company’s information system Pinfos, which secures automated data feedback from the manufacturing process and monitors quality and maintenance processes. Through electronic data interchange (EDI), Wisa’s customers will have direct access to inventory information allowing them to place orders directly from the company.
