C.A. Metropolitan Signs contract with Lawson
Spain-based service integrator of renting solutions to implement Lawson ERP system
Spain, Madrid (May 07, 2009) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN), a global provider of enterprise software systems today announced that C.A. Metropolitan has licensed Lawson S3 Enterprise Financial Management along with Lawson Smart office. The contract was signed during Lawson’s third quarter of fiscal 2009, which ended Feb. 28, 2009. The implementation project will be managed by Burke, channel partner for Lawson S3 solutions in Spain.
The Enterprise Financial Management suite is part of the Lawson S3 Enterprise Management System, designed for service sector organizations including healthcare providers, the public sector and professional service organizations. C.A. Metropolitan is a rental services’ company based in Spain. With more than 400 clients and approximately 100 employees, C.A. Metropolitan has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Vigo and holds a strong market position in rental services for a number of sectors such as banking, laboratories, transport and communications.
The company opted for Lawson after a rigorous selection process including the major vendors on the market. Lawson’s experience with service sector organizations and its deep knowledge of asset management were crucial in C.A. Metropolitan’s decision making process.
C.A. Metropolitan will implement Lawson Enterprise Financial Suite, a solution that helps organizations drive enterprise value with enhanced information for targeting growth and a platform for sustainable compliance. The company will also deploy Lawson Smart Office which is Lawson’s intuitive and personalized user interface, allowing users to access Lawson and Microsoft applications and update data pervasively and instantly across the applications.
