Epicor® Vantage® 8.0 Takes Top Software Honors at the AeA High-Tech Awards 2005
Leading Technology Industry Association Recognizes Vantage 8.0 with Innovative Product/Technology Award; Epicor Recognized as an Outstanding Company Finalist
IRVINE, Calif. (April 25, 2005) – The Orange County Council of AeA named Epicor Software Corporation (Nasdaq: EPIC) as the software winner of the Innovative Product/Technology 2005 award for Vantage 8.0, the industry’s first manufacturing solution based on a 100-percent service-oriented architecture (SOA) and optimized for high performance and collaboration across the globally expanding supply chain. Epicor was also named a finalist for Outstanding Company as the AeA celebrated the twelfth anniversary of its annual High-Tech Awards.
The High-Tech Awards recognize outstanding Orange County technology companies and their products as well as significant contributions by individuals to the local high-technology community. “We’re proud to recognize Epicor as the innovative product/technology winner in the software category,” said Phil Beaudoin, executive director, AeA Orange County Council. “With the development of Vantage 8.0, Epicor clearly demonstrated technology innovation and leadership.”
The awards were announced during a special reception at the Jewish Community Center of Orange County on the Samueli Jewish Campus in Irvine on April 20. These recognitions add to the momentum building for Epicor in 2005, having also recently been named “Company of the Year” in the Software Council of Southern California’s Software Industry Awards.
