Lawson Business Intelligence Goes Global
Enhancements to Lawson Business Intelligence 9.0 Deliver value to worldwide customer base with language translations
ST. PAUL, Minn. (March 05, 2007) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq:LWSN) today announced enhancements to Lawson Business Intelligence 9.0. New features include French and Swedish translations within the application, and platform improvements to help extend the value Lawson global customers receive from their existing investments in Lawson’s ERP application suites.
Lawson Business Intelligence 9.0.2 enables several Lawson applications to run in non-English languages in different locales. For example, Swedish customers can use Lawson Scorecard or Lawson Reporting Services in their native language, providing a wider array of decision-makers access to critical pieces of information when needed.

Lawson Business Intelligence provides organization-wide reporting and analysis via role-based dashboards, delivering relevant information to employees at all levels, who can then make better and faster decisions to help improve corporate performance. The application provides features that allow proactive bursting of reports that include the appropriate context – critical to helping decision-makers take corrective actions and mitigate risk. The suite delivers out-of-the-box functionality via the Lawson Portal, all at a lower price than best-of-breed vendor offerings.
With this latest release, Lawson M3 System customers can take their reporting infrastructure to a higher level by linking Lawson Business Intelligence with Lawson Business Performance Warehouse, a data warehousing application that extracts and consolidates information customers need from across the enterprise. The application works with Lawson Business Intelligence, providing a “single version of the truth” in a company’s data sources to help customers focus on the information that is core to their business and decision-making needs.
Lawson will conduct a live webcast of a Lawson Business Intelligence customer panel discussion today from the 2007 Lawson Conference and User Exchange (CUE) in San Diego.
