Lawson M3 Helps Optimize Business Processes and Supplier Relationships at Air Liquide Santé Domicile
Homecare division Air Liquide deploys Lawson M3 for electronic supplier invoicing and order processing
PARIS, France (April 20, 2009) – Lawson Software today announced that France-based Air Liquide Santé Domicile, the homecare division of Air Liquide and Lawson customer for more than 10 years, has successfully gone live with Lawson M3 Automatic Document Capture (ADC). The organization is using the solution provided through Lawson to support its supplier invoicing process at 83 divisions. Air Liquide is a leading provider of gases for industrial and medical purposes. Air Liquide Santé Domicile specializes in supporting medical patients in their homes through a range of services and equipment providing optimal homecare treatment and improving patient’s quality of everyday life.
The Lawson M3 solutions already in place at Air Liquide Santé Domicile are being used across the company’s French divisions in sales, procurement, finance, logistics and maintenance. These users support 150,000 patients, and provide for 350,000 pieces of medical equipment. The Lawson system enables the company process 2,000 customer orders for the delivery of medical equipment and 5,000 service orders for preventative maintenance at patients’ homes daily. The Lawson system helps optimize logistics between the various divisions and home deliveries, while helping to improve the company’s inventory and sales planning.
Recently Lawson has successfully implemented Lawson Automatic Document Capture to help accelerate the exchange of invoices between Air Liquide Santé Domicile and its suppliers, with heightened accuracy and security. Automatic Document Capture transforms documents into readily accessible digital format, reducing or eliminating the need for traditional data entry. The company estimates it will simplify processing of the 100,000 invoices the company issues annually.
