LR Health & Beauty Systems GmbH Signs Contract to Implement , Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System
Company seeking improved efficiency and competitiveness for the entire business group in 30 countries
HILDEN, Germany (October 22, 2007) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) today announced it has signed a contract with LR Health & Beauty Systems GmbH (LR), one of the largest German network companies in health and beauty products. LR selected the Java-based Lawson M3 solution for 500 users, replacing legacy systems that no longer fully support the company’s growth strategy.
LR has chosen to run the Lawson application suite on the latest Lawson M3 7.1 Technology platform. The company will also implement the Lawson M3 Enterprise Performance Management Suite, which includes Lawson Business Intelligence to help support LR’s analyses, reporting and decision-making needs. In addition to a lower total cost of ownership argument, LR chose Lawson because it could offer a phased and more rapid implementation methodology than what was offered by other software providers.
The rollout within LR will begin with the company’s operations in Germany, and will later include operations in Austria, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands. The remaining 25 countries will then be integrated during a second and third phase.

The contract was signed in Lawson’s first quarter of fiscal year 2008, which ended August 31, 2008.
